| ABSTRACT |
In this talk, an overview to the filed of Operations Research will be given. Because of the quantitative essence, Operations Research has a very close link to mathematics and computer sciences. The area is interesting not only in its real world problem solving nature, but also in its intrinsic value of mathematics. With those, we hope to appreciate mathematics from a different view point. |
