TITLE Linear sampling method for heat conductors

ABSTRACT The linear sampling method is a method for inverse scattering problems and inverse boundary value problems to identify cracks, cavities and inclusions. In this talk a linear sampling type method is proposed for the inverse boundary value problem for heat conductors to identify unknown cavities. Some new feature will be observed for the linear sampling type method compared with the linear sampling method. Also, some unsolved problems will be given in this talk.
