TITLE | Generalized Polarization Tensors for Shape Representation |
ABSTRACT | There are several geometric or physical quantities which contain geometric information of the shape. Among them are eigenvalues and capacities, and the generalized polarization tensors (GPT) are such quantities. GPTs appear naturally in the multi-polar expansion of the electrical field in the presence of inclusion. Recently the notion of GPTs has been effectively used in imaging, shape recognition, invisibility cloaking, and so on. In this talk I will survey on this development. |
