TITLE On the Minimal Speed of Monostable Connecting Fronts

ABSTRACT In the study of traveling fronts, there are two different types of connections: bistable and monostable. It is well-known that there exists the minimal wave speed for the monostable connections. It is important to determine the minimal speed in applied sciences. In this talk, we shall address the relation between the minimal speeds for certain parabolic problems and their spatial discrete analogues.
