TITLE | Local Theta Correspondence and L-functoriality |
ABSTRACT |
Let $(U(V),U(V'))$ be a reductive dual pair of unitary groups. The preservation principle of local theta correspondence predicts the existence of a chain of irreducible supercuspidal representations of the unitary groups $U(V)$ or $U(V')$. Adams/Harris-Kudla-Sweet have a conjecture about the Langlands parameters for these supercuspidal representations. In this talk we want to show that their conjecture holds when these supercuspidal representations are unipotent (in the sense of Lusztig). |
