TITLE On the Clifford algebra of a cubic form

ABSTRACT In this talk we first introduce briefly Azumaya algebras, which are generalization of central simple algebras. We then present the Clifford algebra of a form, which has been studied by various authors.
In 1982, Prof. Haile proved that the Clifford algebra of a binary cubic form is an Azumaya algebra of rank 9 and its center is the affine coordinate ring of an elliptic curve. We will associate certain algebra to a cubic curve and prove some analogous results.
